Matured in Hillrock Distillery, and Maker’s Mark ex-bourbon casks, vatted and transferred into Laphroaig Islay Whisky Cask for six months, before finishing in a Hillrock Single Malt peated (60 PPM) whisky cask.

Nose: A tapestry of smoky peat weaves through the nose, a reflection of its time spent in both Islay and intensely peated Hillrock casks. Beneath the smoke, the sweetness of bourbon cask maturation reveals itself as caramel and vanilla, with the subtle charm of oak lingering behind.
Palate: Upon tasting, a bold stroke of peat takes centre stage, its robust character a culmination of the whisky's journey through different lands and casks. The malt's inherent sweetness is complemented by a complex layer of flavours from Hillrock to Maker’s Mark - notes of toffee, spice, and a hint of fruitiness that balances the intense peat.
Finish: The finish is a grand finale of peat, potent and confident from its final rest in Hillrock's heavily peated casks. Yet, it’s nuanced by a final whisper of that early Islay character, a distant maritime breeze that lingers alongside the warmth of American bourbon heritage.
